TDK COMPONENTS ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS

Founded by Kenzo Saito in Tokyo, Japan, in 1935, TDK manufactured the first iron-based ferrite cores to reduce the volume of radio receivers used by the Japanese military. The magnetic components of ferrite were used to produce a magnetic tape that eventually led to the production of compact cassette tapes in 1966. TDK expanded its portfolio to include magnetic and optical media, with videotape production, blank CD-Rs and DVDs until 2007. Imation acquired TDK's marketing and sales department for branded media, including recording, flash and optical media, accessories, and magnetic tape. As of 2015, Imation has since released the TDK brand and no longer sells these products. However, when you are doing an electronic parts search, we offer you a wide variety of obsolete electronic components. TDK has since focused on the development, manufacture and sales of electronic components, HDD heads and suspension, and power supplies when it comes to semiconductors. Today, TDK offers shielded SMT power inductors with up to 80 A saturation currents. TDK has also introduced the new PCM120T series of shielded SMT power inductors, optimized for high saturation currents and low DC resistance.
