The GigaDevice GD25B16ET2GR is a 16M-bit (2,048K-byte) Serial NOR Flash memory device from the GD25B16E “E Version” family. It supports the Standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) as well as Dual SPI and Quad SPI modes, delivering high-throughput code storage and execute-in-place (XiP) operation for embedded systems. The “T” package code designates the 8-lead SOP (150mil) form factor, the “G” suffix indicates a Pb-free / halogen-free Green package, and the “R” suffix indicates tape-and-reel packing.

Built on a 3V single-supply architecture (2.7V to 3.6V) with a 4K-byte uniform sector layout (and 32K-byte / 64K-byte uniform blocks), the GD25B16ET2GR is well suited to applications that require flexible erase granularity, fast boot, and reliable non-volatile storage. With Quad I/O data transfer up to 532 Mbit/s and a 133MHz read clock (30pF load), it provides the bandwidth needed to feed SoC caches and reduce instruction-fetch latency.
