The XL74HC595 from Xinluda is a high-speed CMOS 8-bit shift register that combines an 8-bit serial-input, parallel-output shift register with an 8-bit D-type storage latch featuring three-state (tri-state) outputs. Separate clocks for the shift register and the storage latch allow data to be shifted in and held while the previous data continues to drive the outputs, making the device ideal for expanding the number of output lines available from a microcontroller using just a few pins. The XL74HC595 is supplied in a SOP-16 package and is functionally and pin-for-pin equivalent to the industry-standard 74HC595 logic family.
Pacific Component Xchange is an independent distributor specializing in hard-to-find and allocated power-management ICs and logic components. The XL74HC595 has little to no authorized-distributor availability, and Pacific Component Xchange helps engineers and buyers secure these scarce, end-of-life, and obsolete parts when standard channels come up short. Every order is backed by our authenticity and quality-assurance program to protect your production line from counterfeit risk, and we ship globally to keep your builds on schedule. The XL74HC595 is Xinluda's 8-bit serial-input, parallel-output shift register with an 8-bit D-type storage latch and tri-state outputs. It is functionally equivalent to the industry-standard 74HC595 and is supplied in a SOP-16 package.
The XL74HC595 is offered in a SOP-16 package. Xinluda also offers a TSSOP-16 variant under the part number XL74HC595TS.
The device operates over a wide 2 V to 6 V supply range and supports a shift clock frequency from DC up to 30 MHz.
Yes. The XL74HC595 follows the standard 74HC595 architecture and pinout, making it a drop-in alternative for designs that use the common 74HC595 8-bit shift register.
The XL74HC595 has little to no authorized-distributor availability. As an independent distributor of hard-to-find components, Pacific Component Xchange sources these scarce parts on request. Submit an RFQ for current pricing, stock, and lead time.
Yes. The XL74HC595 has a serial output for cascading, allowing multiple devices to be chained together to expand the number of parallel outputs available from a single microcontroller.
