The Xinluda XL14514 (also cataloged under the XD14514 designation) is a CMOS 4-bit strobed-latch combined with a 4-to-16 line decoder/demultiplexer. It belongs to the industry-standard CD4514 / MC14514 family, providing one-of-sixteen active-high output decoding from a 4-bit binary input, with on-chip input latches that hold the last data present before the Latch Enable (strobe) transitions. An inhibit/enable control allows all outputs to be held low, and the device can also operate as a 1-to-16 demultiplexer by routing data through the enable input while the address lines select the target output.
Built on complementary N- and P-channel enhancement-mode MOS transistors, the XL14514 offers wide-supply flexibility, high noise immunity, and very low quiescent power that have made the 4514 a long-running standard in address decoding, keyboard scanning, and control-line selection. Xinluda specifies the device over a 3 V to 18 V supply range. The part is supplied in a through-hole DIP-24 package, making it convenient for legacy boards, repair/retrofit work, and education or prototyping applications.
Detailed electrical limits (propagation delay, output drive, timing) should be confirmed against the linked Xinluda datasheet for your specific operating conditions.
The Xinluda XL14514 is a specialty CMOS logic device with limited authorized-distributor availability, which makes it exactly the kind of hard-to-find part Pacific Component Xchange is built to source. As an independent distributor, we locate obsolete, allocated, and low-availability components across a vetted global supply network. Every order is backed by our authenticity and counterfeit-avoidance process, and we ship worldwide to support production, maintenance, and end-of-life sustainment needs.
Pricing on the XL14514 is quoted per request. Submit an RFQ to Pacific Component Xchange with your target quantity and date code requirements, and our sourcing team will respond with current availability, lead time, and pricing.
