The Xinluda XD74LS90 is a 74LS-series TTL decade, divide-by-twelve and binary counter in a DIP-14 package, built from four master-slave flip-flops for BCD and frequency-division applications.

The XD74LS90 from Xinluda is a TTL-compatible decade, divide-by-twelve and binary counter belonging to the popular 74LS logic family. It integrates four master-slave flip-flops together with additional gating to form an independent divide-by-two counter and a three-stage divide-by-five (binary) counter, giving designers flexible BCD counting and frequency-division capability in a single low-cost device.

Because the two counter sections are brought out separately, the XD74LS90 can be wired as a BCD decade counter, a bi-quinary divider, or a divide-by-five stage simply by choosing which clock input is driven and how the outputs are interconnected. Gated zero-reset (R0) inputs and gated set-to-nine (R9) inputs make it well suited to BCD nine’s-complement applications and clean counter initialization.
