Supplied in a through-hole DIP-24 package, the XD33035 is a functional equivalent of the industry-standard 33035 controller family (the surface-mount SOP-24 sibling is the XL33035).
The device combines a rotor position decoder for proper commutation sequencing, a temperature-compensated 6.25 V reference capable of supplying sensor power, a frequency-programmable sawtooth oscillator, three open-collector top drivers, and three high-current totem-pole bottom drivers ideally suited for driving external power MOSFETs in a 3-phase bridge.
