The Xinluda XD232 is a +5V-powered, multichannel RS-232 driver/receiver IC with two drivers and two receivers in a DIP-16 package, functionally compatible with the industry-standard MAX232.

The Xinluda XD232 is a +5V-powered, multichannel RS-232 line driver/receiver designed for EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 serial communications interfaces, particularly in applications where a bipolar ±12V supply is not available. Integrated charge-pump circuitry generates the required RS-232 line voltages from a single +5V supply, making the XD232 a functional equivalent to the industry-standard MAX232 family. The device is supplied in a through-hole DIP-16 package.
