Each of its two independent channels is retriggerable and resettable, producing an output pulse whose width is set by an external resistor (R_X) and capacitor (C_X) timing network. The device can be triggered from either the leading or trailing edge of an input pulse and includes an active-low reset for immediate termination of the output pulse or to inhibit unwanted pulses at power-up.
