The XD14514 from Xinluda is a CMOS 4-bit latch / 4-to-16 line decoder belonging to the industry-standard 4514 logic family. The device combines a 4-bit strobed input latch with a 4-to-16 line decoder, presenting a logic “1” on one of sixteen mutually exclusive outputs selected by the 4-bit binary address. An Inhibit input forces all outputs low, and a Strobe / Latch Enable input freezes the stored address so the active output is held independent of subsequent input changes. The XD14514 is a pin- and function-compatible equivalent of the classic CD4514 / MC14514 type devices.
