The Xinluda XD7555 is a general-purpose CMOS RC timer supplied in an 8-pin DIP package. It is, in most instances, a direct replacement for the industry-standard SE/NE 555 timer, but uses a CMOS process to deliver significantly lower power consumption, wider supply-voltage operation, and dramatically reduced supply-current spiking during output transitions. The XD7555 is the DIP-8 member of Xinluda’s 7555 timer family (the XL7555 is the SOP-8 surface-mount equivalent).
In the monostable (one-shot) mode, the output pulse width is set by a single external resistor and capacitor. In astable mode, the free-running frequency and duty cycle are controlled by external resistors and a capacitor, supporting oscillator and timing-delay designs.
The Xinluda XD7555 is a regional-market part with limited authorized-distributor coverage, which can make it difficult to source for production builds, BOM substitutions, or NE555-to-CMOS migrations. Pacific Component Xchange specializes in hard-to-find and end-of-availability power-management and timing ICs. We help engineers and buyers secure the right orderable part with authenticity verification, lot traceability where available, and global shipping. If you need the XD7555 or a qualified 7555/555 equivalent, submit an RFQ and our sourcing team will respond with availability, lead time, and pricing for your required quantity.
The XD7555 is a single CMOS RC general-purpose timer in a DIP-8 package. It is a low-power, direct replacement for the standard SE/NE 555 timer in most monostable and astable timing applications.
In most instances, yes. Xinluda states the XD7555 is a direct replacement for SE/NE 555 devices. Because it uses CMOS technology, it draws far less supply current and produces much smaller current spikes during output transitions, so supply decoupling is normally unnecessary.
They are the same 7555 timer in different packages. The XD7555 is supplied in an 8-pin DIP (through-hole), while the XL7555 is the SOP-8 surface-mount version.
The XD7555 operates over a 2 V to 18 V functional supply range with a typical static supply current of about 60 uA at 15 V (40 uA at 5 V) and supports oscillator operation up to 1 MHz.
It is a regional-market Xinluda part with limited authorized-distributor coverage outside Asia. Pacific Component Xchange sources hard-to-find timing ICs like the XD7555 on an RFQ basis with authenticity verification and global shipping.
The XD7555 is offered on a Request-for-Quote basis. Submit an RFQ to Pacific Component Xchange with your required quantity and we will respond with current availability, lead time, and pricing.
