The Xinluda XD485 is a single +5V, half-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver supplied in a through-hole DIP-8 (PDIP-8) package. It integrates one driver and one receiver with separate driver-enable (DE) and receiver-enable (RE) controls; the driver and receiver outputs are high-impedance (tri-state) when disabled, so multiple nodes can share a common two-wire bus. The XD485 is the DIP-8 member of the Xinluda XL485 family (which also includes the XL485CS in SOP-8 and the XL485-SS in MSOP-8) and uses the standard single-driver/single-receiver +5V RS-485 pinout, making it a convenient option for industrial communication boards.
