The Xinluda XL9535 is a 24-pin CMOS integrated circuit that provides 16 bits of general-purpose parallel input/output (GPIO) expansion for most microcontroller families over a two-wire I2C-bus / SMBus interface (serial clock SCL and serial data SDA). It is functionally aligned with the popular PCA9535/TCA9535-class 16-bit expanders, making it a convenient drop-in option for designs that need additional I/O without consuming microcontroller pins.
At power-up, all 16 I/Os default to inputs. The host can then configure each line as an input or output through the on-chip Configuration register, drive outputs through the Output Port register, read pin states through the Input Port register, and selectively invert the sense of input pins through the Polarity Inversion register. An open-drain, active-LOW interrupt (INT) output is asserted whenever an input state differs from the corresponding input port register value, allowing the controller to avoid continuous I2C polling.
The XL9535 is a Xinluda part with limited authorized-distributor coverage, which can make it difficult to secure in production quantities through mainstream channels. Pacific Component Xchange specializes in hard-to-find and allocation-constrained power-management ICs, interface ICs, and optocouplers. We help engineering and procurement teams locate, verify, and source obsolete and difficult-to-find devices like the XL9535 with an emphasis on authenticity and supply-chain transparency.
Because this is a Request-For-Quote item, pricing and lead time are confirmed per order. Submit an RFQ today for current XL9535 availability, packaging options, date codes, and quantity pricing, and our sourcing specialists will respond quickly. We support global shipping and can quote across the SOP24, SSOP24, TSSOP24, and QFN24 package variants to match your bill of materials.
The XL9535 is a 24-pin CMOS 16-bit I2C-bus and SMBus I/O port expander from Xinluda. It adds 16 general-purpose I/O lines to a microcontroller over a two-wire I2C/SMBus interface, with an interrupt output and configuration, output, and polarity inversion registers.
The XL9535 is a 16-bit I2C/SMBus I/O expander functionally aligned with the PCA9535/TCA9535 class of devices, including the same register architecture (input, output, polarity inversion, and configuration). Always confirm pinout, addressing, and timing against the XL9535 datasheet for your specific design before substituting.
The XL9535 operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V, has 5 V tolerant I/O ports, and supports the 400 kHz I2C-bus fast mode.
Up to 8 XL9535 devices can share a single I2C/SMBus, set by the three hardware address pins A0, A1, and A2.
Per the datasheet ordering information, the XL9535 is offered in SOP24 (300 mil), SSOP24 (209 mil), TSSOP24, and QFN24 (4x4 mm). The base XL9535 order code corresponds to the TSSOP-24 package.
The XL9535 is a Request-For-Quote item with limited authorized-distributor availability. Submit an RFQ to Pacific Component Xchange and our sourcing team will confirm availability, package option, date codes, lead time, and quantity pricing.
