The XL9910 from Xinluda is a high-voltage, open-loop, current-mode control LED driver controller designed for single-switch step-down (buck) LED lighting applications. With an integrated 8.0V-450V linear regulator, the XL9910 operates directly from a wide range of input voltages, eliminating the need for a separate low-voltage auxiliary supply. The device can be configured for either constant-frequency or constant off-time operation, and it requires only three external components in addition to the power stage to deliver a well-controlled LED current.

Integrated PWM and linear dimming inputs make the XL9910 a flexible choice for dimmable LED fixtures. Because it uses open-loop current-mode control, the controller achieves excellent output current regulation without the need for loop compensation.
