The XL74HC373 from Xinluda is a high-speed CMOS octal D-type transparent latch with 3-state outputs. It contains eight latches with independent data inputs and 3-state outputs, making it ideal for buffering and temporarily storing data on bidirectional buses in microprocessor and memory-addressing systems. When the Latch Enable (LE) input is HIGH, the latches are transparent and data passes through to the outputs; when LE goes LOW, the data present a setup time before the transition is latched and held. A separate Output Enable (OE) input controls the 3-state outputs independently of the latch state, placing the outputs in a high-impedance condition when disabled so the device can share a common bus.
