The Xinluda XL2845 is a high-performance, fixed-frequency current-mode PWM controller designed for off-line and DC-to-DC switching power supply applications. Part of Xinluda’s XL28xx controller series, the XL2845 follows the well-established pin-out and functional behavior of the industry-standard UC2845/UC3845 current-mode controllers, making it a practical drop-in alternative for cost-sensitive and supply-constrained designs. It is supplied in a compact surface-mount SOP-8 package.

As a “45”-suffix member of the family, the XL2845 features an internally limited maximum duty cycle of approximately 50%, which makes it well suited to forward and flyback converter topologies that require duty-cycle clamping. Consistent with the UC2845/UC3845 architecture it follows, the controller is built around cycle-by-cycle current-mode control and a gate-drive output stage capable of driving external power MOSFETs in compact converter designs.
