This device carries the SK Hynix “C” die revision (CFR) and is rated for DDR3-1333 (1333 Mbps per pin) operation, supplied in a compact 78-ball FBGA package. It is a lead-free, halogen-free, RoHS-compliant component intended for main-memory applications that demand high density and high bandwidth.

Like all SK Hynix 2Gb DDR3 SDRAMs, the H5TQ2G83CFR-H9C performs fully synchronous operations referenced to both the rising and falling edges of the clock, latches address and control inputs on the rising clock edge, and uses an internally pipelined, 8-bit prefetch data path with eight internal banks for very high effective bandwidth. The device operates from a single 1.5V supply (VDD = VDDQ = 1.5V +/- 0.075V) and supports on-die termination (ODT), ZQ calibration, and fully differential clock and data strobe signaling per the JEDEC DDR3 standard.
